Have you ever had a big barbeque ruined because you can’t get the grill hot enough to cook the meat? This must be how the Global Warming crowd is feeling these days.

So much for ’settled science’You may have heard earlier this month that global warming is now likely to take break for a decade or more. There will be no more warming until 2015, perhaps later.
Climate scientist Noel Keenlyside, leading a team from Germany’s Leibniz Institute of Marine Science and the Max Planck Institute of Meteorology, for the first time entered verifiable data on ocean circulation cycles into one of the U. N.’s climate supercomputers, and the machine spit out a projection that there will be no more warming for the foreseeable future.
Climate alarmists the world over were quick to add that they had known all along there would be periods when the Earth’s climate would cool even as the overall trend was toward dangerous climate change.
Less well-known is that global temperatures have already been falling for a decade. All of which means, that by 2015 or 2020, when warming is expected to resume, we will have had nearly 20 years of fairly steady cooling.
Even Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the IPCC, reluctantly admitted to Reuters in January that there has been no warming so far in the 21st Century.

I hope everyone realizes that these predictions of cooling have the same reliability as the predictions of warming. What do you think the socialists will say when some of these predictions turns out to have been wrong.

The important thing to watch for during the period of cooling will be if the atmospheric CO2 levels dive.
There is a good chance that CO2 levels will take a nose dive as the oceans suck up a lot more than usual. If they drop a lot more than human CO2 production, which is a strong possibility, it will negate the MMGW argument.
Global Warming is about ten years past its shelf life. It's amazing how the Climate Change Commies managed to keep it going as long as they have. They're even going to try to keep it going through twenty years of coming cooling!
Funny in a sad way. I always thought that a decade from now Global Warming would become the Pet Rock of the 90's.
The thing is the whole CO2 thing is a fraud anyway. The warming theory is not that CO2 would cook us, but that it would start a runway loop of evaporation and the water vapor in the atmosphere would do it since WV is a much more potent greenhouse gas.
What they didn’t put in their little computer models is that the water vapor might condense and form clouds, then rain, and then actually cool the earth. I find this a travesty as we all learn the evaporation/clouds/rain cycle in the 6th grade. You have to be incompetent or deliberately fraudulent to not at least consider it.
In the end more CO2 might actually cool, not warm us.
Hence the new meme of “climate change.” They’ve known this all along and will “discover” it now to fight “global cooling.” They won’t look up in the sky at that big burning ball of nuclear fire, though. Of course it doesn’t effect the climate (because it can’t be legislated to take more of our money and freedom).
It’s time to start saying that the foolish policies of the enviro-wackos have caused this cooling and are going to plunge the earth into a devastating ice age.
