My best and true story about NBC happened a few years ago.
When the NBC affliate in Gay Frisco channel 4 tried to extort Dish, the CEO of DISH dropped channel 4 from its lineup in minutes.
We knew nothing about this as we never watched 4/NBC. Our son came home to visit and tried to watch channel 4 and got a reminder that that Dish and cancelled their services months ago.
He laughed at us.
Then, he tried to watch CNN and it was blocked since day one when the Dish installer set up the system as per my request with all CNN stations blocked. He still jokes about the lack of the NBC station and no one noticing that it was gone.

Grampa I have them blocked too, I just don't want that crap on my TV full stop even if it is my accident My mother in law came to visit down here, she's a massachusetts no nothing thick dim, doesn't know what she votes for but just votes for the dims Anyway she asks me for those morning programmes and when I explained that she can't watch them due to me not getting them , she sulked every morning for the time she was here. she was forced to watch FOX even if I was doing things around the house don't know why she didn't feel welcome
