Liberals Sneak Amnesty for Illegals Into Iraq Funding Bill
Compiled from various emal sources | Today! | TBP

Posted on 05/19/2008 8:32:19 AM PDT by TBP

Last Thursday, a Gigantic Illegal Alien Amnesty was attached to the War funding bill in the Senate. . .

Sellout Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Larry Craig (R-Idaho) have successfully inserted the "Ag Jobs" amnesty components into the Iraq War funding bill.

Because this amnesty is attached to a so-called "must-pass" funding bill, it will now prove very difficult to defeat.

If it passes, this bill will GIVE AN AMNESTY to about 3 MILLION Illegal Aliens agricultural workers and their families for five years (at least!)

They could vote on the spending bill today or tomorrow. If the bill passes with this language included it will grant a form of AMNESTY to millions of illegal aliens working on farms.

It would:

Grant a three-year work visa followed by a permanent greencard to all illegal aliens who have been working as shepherds, goat herders and dairy herders.

Grant a five-year work visa to the estimated 1.3 million illegal aliens working in other agricultural jobs -- plus all of their families. There is no instruction on what happens after the five years.

Grant a tripling of the maximum number of H-2B visas for lower skill, non-agricultural seasonal workers.

Grant industries an extra 218,000 additional permanent green cards for skilled foreign workers.

Friends, perhaps you are thinking what I'm thinking: Don't these Senators know that we are in an economic recession, or close to it? Don't they know that unemployment rates have been going up and that industries across the country are shedding both skilled and unskilled jobs?

You only have to meet ONE of the following three criteria to get the amnesty:

Earned $7,000 working in agriculture during the 2004-2007 period.

Or worked 863 hours in agriculture during the 2004-2007 period.

Or worked at least a little bit in agriculture on 150 different days during the 2004-2007 period.

That amounts to an average of $1,750 per year ...

... or 216 hours per year (the equivalent of 4 hours per week) ...

... or parts of 37 days per year.

DO THEY THINK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY ACCEPT THAT ILLEGAL ALIENS WORKING THAT LITTLE IN AGRICULTURE ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE SURVIVAL OF AGRI-BUSINESS IN AMERICA!!!!!!

The answer is that they really hope we are that stupid or just incredibly unfocused.

We must take immediate action.

1. Call Dianne Feinstein and Larry Craig and give their staff an earful within reason. Follow-up your call with an e-mail or fax.

2. Call both of your US Senators immediately. If you get a voicemail, leave a message. Tell your Senators NO AG JOBS AMNESTY! NO DEFENSE SPENDING BILL WITH AG JOBS IN IT! Make sure you call, and immediately send a written complaint after calling.

3. Then proceed to call as many other members of the US Senate as possible with the same message. Call them all if you can.

4. Email them.

5. Call the radio talk shows in your area and talk about this bill.

We need a strong and immediate reaction from across the nation to this move by Feinstein and Craig!

Diane Feinstein pulled her fast one, and the battle we didn't want is now upon is. We must respond.

We can beat this amnesty ONLY if all of you send faxes, make phone calls, send emails, and otherwise make your views known to your members.

This amendment is just another attempt by the amnesty crowd to do away with our borders. We must be strong and active to short-circuit this latest underhanded attempt to impose amnesty on us.

We beat them last year because the American people FOCUSED for a few weeks and told the U.S. Senators who is their boss. We must beat them again this year. Do not let these corrupt officials get away with this underhanded legislative trick.

Yes it is. You can try to comfort yourself with twisted reasoning, but a vote less for McCain is a win for Obama. I don’t think I have to elaborate on the electoral system. You actually might just walk a further step and vote for Barack Hussein right away if you consider a CiC and POTUS Obama acceptable.

The problem is that McCain is not acceptable as POTUS and CinC, either.

This can probably be stopped with enough pressure. Maybe if we’re lucky the phone lines will get shut down again...

Thanks for the heads-up. Time to get on the horn.

I never want to hear any of those asshats say how much more he/she could make in the private sector. If they did any job in the private sector as "well" as they do their job of protecting the welfare of the country, they'd be lucky to have reached the exalted rank of junior assistant toiletscrubber.

They will never stop until the entire populations of Mexico, Central and South America walk into this country, no questions asked and no requirements necessary. Then they will say they are satisfied.

This sneaky, corrupt amnesty must be stopped.

Welcome back to round two of "How Can We Fool These Idiots?" Our contestants are Senators Larry Craig of Idaho and Diane Feinstein of California!

Do these people not get it? Did they expect to get away with this?

We did t before, we can do it again.

Hit the switchboards and Numbers USA, one and all.

Yes it is. You can try to comfort yourself with twisted reasoning, but a vote less for McCain is a win for Obama.

You asume that I would otherwise be voting for McCain. I can't vote for him for the very same reasons that I can't vote for Obama or Hitlery. Three peas in a pod.

This is typical of the arrogant Republican worldview that is chasing many conservatives out of teh party. Tehy assume that our votes are their property and if we don't vote for them, we've taken something away from them. They assume that our function is to vote for tehm and shut up when they betray us. This arrogance is drivin conservatives away in increasing numbers, which I'm sure is welcome news to country-club RINOs like McVain.

Ketchup pumpers at McD's.

Careful who you suggest this to. Some might thoroughly enjoy pumping ketchup at McDonald's. ;)
