Then tell me just why you say Carolyn is not reliable.....Where is your proof her story is untrue? Matter of fact why don't you take every single name I posted & tell me how they are unreliable too....

The FLDS crowd either ‘knew’ the ages of their children, or had a good idea. The fact that they now come out with some proof of age, means they must have already known.
The CPS had to guess, since none of them gave birth to these children, nor raised them from birth. The CPS asked the ages and the FLDS crowd said they didn’t know, or kept changing their stories of the ages of certain children.
ERGO, the CPS might have been mistaken, having been forced to ‘guess’, but the FLDS members had to outright lie, in some of the cases, since they had every reason in the world to ‘know’.
The FACT they were members of a ‘cult’ (the cult of Warren Jeffs) which was violating the law, and required them to lie to authorities, is something that keeps getting glossed over.
Remember, Carolyn Jessop’s oldest daughter left her mother and went back to the FLDS as soon as she was old enough to make her own decision. Makes you wonder if Ms. Jessop isn’t even nuttier than the FLDS.

Probably like here daughter was already too damaged to function well in the outside world (it’s the other kids staying that tells more).
That’s a huge assumption. Maybe she just liked it. Some of these women obviously do. I certainly wouldn’t, but some of them seem quite content.
In the 1900’s, about 3 percent of the Mormons in Utah practiced polygamy. It was almost always practiced by the men who had sufficient means to support a bunch of women.
Anyway, some of the women liked having “sister wives.” For some of them, it freed them up to pursue careers, while still having children. Some women were sent off to schools. I remember reading about one who went back East medical school, while her “sister wives” cared for her children. In an odd sort of way (and certainly not one I would ever want to emulate) some of the women in polygamous marriages were liberated in ways that other women of the day were not. Utah was, I think, the first state to give women the vote.
On the other hand, there were women ended up feeling sad about the arrangement, and suffered the kind of jealousy and unhappiness that most of us would imagine we would feel in those circumstances.

Why is that? The child was brought up FLDS plain & simple. Its what she knew & what she believes. When she became of age she went back to her faith. I don't find that odd in the least myself. Freedom of choice...The Amish let their children have rumspringa where they go out into the English world to see what it is like. Many return to the church. Maybe the daughter just preferred the FLDS way of life. If I recall she was the one who did not want to leave & said she belonged to the Prophet. Somebody correct me if I am wrong please!

No one has been put in prison, yet. The young lady was in Protective Custody. Here’s the thing. It doesn’t matter what age the GIRL/WOMAN was, she was pregnant. The BABY was in Protective Custody, and without a forced, instant caesarian-section, the mother had to go to.

What you say, is essentially true, but you are missing out on some things.
The ‘minors’ were difficult to identify, especially since they would changed their stories, or claimed not to know , and did not have any ID on them during the so called ‘RAID’.
Notice, in the PICTURES OF FLDS WOMEN, not a one of them carries a PURSE.
Now, I could line up a bunch of young ladies, from 12 to 20, and I bet you couldn’t guess a single one of their ages correctly.
So, in some of the cases of minors in custody, since the CPS was forced to guess, there will be some mistakes found.

Now, If they produced ‘proof’, you argue, why were they kept in custody.
The ‘answer’ is that this woman was ‘released’ from Protective Custody because the Judge was shown her ‘proof’ in a court of law, and that is the ONLY WAY that someone can be removed from PROTECTIVE CUSTODY.
By the Judge. Each ‘minor’ is getting their chance, in these individual custody hearings, to PROVE their age.
Yes, around 20 may be ‘adults’. Isn’t that at least a good thing? The LAW is being followed, and done in court, and not in the newspaper.

I never said she WAS unreliable. I simply asked if the possibility that she was unreliable had been considered.
