Record Obama Crowd, the Size of a City By Matthew Mosk

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Sen. Barack Obama has seen his share of large crowds over the last 15 months, but his campaign said they have not approached the numbers gathered along the waterfront here right now.

The campaign, citing figures from Duane Bray, battalion chief of Portland Fire & Rescue, estimated that 75,000 people are watching him speak.

The scene suggests this is not an exaggeration. The sea of heads stretches for half a mile along the grassy embankment, while others watch from kayaks and power boats bobbing on the Willamette River. More hug the rails of the steel bridge that stretches across the water and crowds are even watching from jetties on the opposite shore.

This is one reason I shake in my boots....AMERICANS have been bamboozled by a TERRORIST LOVING MUSLIM!! There is no way McNUT can win against this evil man. WE ARE COOKED! The Obamessiah will be OUR next president. GOD HELP US! Never seeing anything like this only in text books during Hitler's reign!

I don't think so. I know people who are die-hard Democrats who will not vote for Obama no matter what! They will either stay home or vote for McCain (not easy for several people who spent the night in the Lincoln bedroom during the Clinton's reign of terror).

Hey guys those are really cute comments about how if all those Americans were dead it wouldn’t matter, comparing Obama to Hitler because he is widly popular and calling him a muslim but how about some real ideas on how to beat this guy?

This isn’t freaking funny and we mock his draw at our own peril.

One thing that frightens the living feces out of me: can we actually trust the same American electorate that gave us EIGHT years of Clinton to NOT give us OsamaObama?

I don’t think americans will accept Obama. I really don’t.

If Obama gets elected I hope there is a deep and visible split in the country that will take away any of OBama’s power.

It is almost worth going to war over. That is, if enough people still care about the US.

Portland has many many moonbat libs so it’s not surprising that a lot of them turn out for the most liberal candidate. Portland is not representative of the country.

Disgusting.

Being an apostate Muslim in the eyes of Muslims worldwide, the Shiites have much to gain by challenging his reconversion as the ‘Mahdi’...Ahmadi-Nejad has lain the groundwork.

A lot of the lurkers in the Levin lounge listen to Portland’s KPAM on the net for Mark’s show. Following that show, a conservative lady, Victoria Taft, has the airwaves for a couple of hours. She literally is a voice in the wilderness, fighting the liberal, leftwing city hall and crazy ideas like “Fareless Square” which allows all the homeless to ride light rail for free. The city is a mecca for runaways, drug addicts, “homeless”, bums and other slackers. I’ve ridden the MAX during one of my visits and saw panhandlers hassling passengers. A couple of recent shootings on the trams have woken the city up that it must attack that part of the problem, at least.

Kind of like one of Hitler’s early rallies stirring up the masses. Both are (or were) so charismatic don’t ya know and both are just as destructive.

That was exactly my thought:

Thank God Hillary has been cleaning his clock lately - otherwise you'd think that everyone had drunk the Kool-Aid.

Seems to me like Communist Party USA thinks Obama is the man who will deliver the bloodless revolution ("Revolt With A Vote"?).

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.
