New Delhi: A man strangled his pregnant daughter and her lover and put their bodies on display to an applauding village in Haryana on Friday.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jasdev Singh and his childhood sweetheart Sunita, who was six-months pregnant, belonged to Karnal village an area dominated by the Jat community which considers people from the same village as siblings.
The two of them secretly continued their affair even after Sunita was married.
Last year, Sunita eloped with Jasdev. However, when Sunita's family finally found them and got to know that she was pregnant, they beat up the couple and strangled them to death, police officials said.
After committing the murder, the family threw the bodies of the young couple outside their house to send a message to the applauding village audience that going against the wishes of the community and the family will not be tolerated.
Shortly after, Sunitas brother went to the local police station and reported their crime.
Sunita's family remained unrepentant after committing the crime. Her mother Roshni Devi justified the action of her family, saying that the family had saved its reputation.
We were there and so were the boy's parents. We had warned her before, but she didn't heed our words, so we finished her off, she said.

Remember, all cultures are equal and should be treated with respect...right?
A fathers respect in his community is worth more than his daughters life? ANI MALS! DESPICABLE HUMANS!
In a few years your post will lead to “hate” charges and you will face at least a fine...trust me, it’s coming.
It’s already happening in Canada.
And an unborn baby murdered.
They saved their reputation ~ Fur Shur ~ now we know what human turds look like.
Looking at the keywords, theres some sick SOB on this forum.
Parents murder their children and you put in “applause”?
Whoever you are, you should desperately seek psychological help.
I bet if it had been the husband who killed her instead of the father, the act would get more support here.

Karnal
The city of Karnal, said to have been founded by Raja Karna, of the Mahabharta fame, spring into prominence in 1739 when Nadir Shah defeated Muhammad Shah at Karnal. Raja Gopal Singh of Jind seized Karnal in 1863, and the Marhattas established themselves at Karnal in 1785. Skirmishes however, followed between the Marhattas and the Sikhs.
In 1795 the Marhattas finally wrested it from Raja Bhag Singh of Jind and made it over to the George Thomas, who took part in the fight. Meanwhile Raja Gurdit Singh of Ladwa obtained possession of Karnal. It was captured by the British in 1805 and made over to Muhamdi Khan (Mandal). Karnal, on being formed into a British cantonment, the fort which had been built by Raja Gajpat singh of Jind, was taken over by the British and converted into a residence for Dost Mohd. Khan Amir of Kabul. The fort was used as a jail,as quarters for native cavalry and as poor house.
In 1862, it was made over to the Education Department, when the district school was moved into it from the city.

the family threw the bodies of the young couple outside their house to send a message to the applauding village audience
which I think is despicable, too.
I hope you’re right.
That just struck me as unbelievable if they put that in as a nasty little cheer for the horror visited on these two and their unborn baby.
If so, then I apologize for my mistaken assumption.
I put the keyword. It was in reference to the applause from the village.
Then I’m sorry for mistaking your intent.
There’s some real doozies on here these days and it’s hard to tell sometimes.
Again, I’m sorry.
Oh yeah, that made it crystal clear. ;-)
Hey, it posted as a single block of type. I did what I could with it.
Otherwise it would have looked like this

Here, You can have me to call sick and depraved:
This story does not faze me. It might as well be as if I heard a story about a pack of rabid rats eating each other.
Not a problem. :)
Just joking. No matter how written, the subject matter is a bit obscure.
