If it could happen to St. Joseph and the Blessed Virgin Mary, it could happen to anyone.
LOL! I once left my daughter in a bank (she was about 7 at the time) because she was supposed to go with another group on the camping trip we were preparing for, and at the last moment, she hopped into my car. Since I was the one buying the groceries for this large crowd, I was pretty preoccupied - she wandered off when I was in the bank, and I didn’t even realize it until I got home and the bank called me. Mentally, I had already checked her off as being with the group. Boy, was I embarrassed.
Of course, she never let me forget it, and till this day (she’s in her 30s), I still hear “remember when you left me at the bank?” - which usually manages to extort a new pair of shoes or a manicure out of me when we’re out shopping together. This kid has got his guilt trip material in place for the rest of his life!
