Regardless of your political persuasion, this from a man who wants to be our president, is WELL worth the read.
U.S. Senator John McCain delivered the following remarks during the first stop of his "Service to America" tour in Meridian, Mississippi: Thank you. It's good to be back in Meridian. As you might know, I was once a flight instructor here at the air field named for my grandfather during my long past and misspent youth. And it's always good to be in Mississippi, which you could call my ancestral home. Generations of McCains were born and raised in Carroll County, on land that had been in our family since 1848. The last McCain to live on the property, which the family called Teoc, was my grandfather's brother, Joe McCain. I spent a couple summers here as a young boy, and enjoyed it immensely. I had never had a permanent address because my father's naval career required us to move frequently. But here, in the care of my very likeable Uncle Joe, I could imagine, with a little envy, what it must have been like for the McCains who came before me to be so connected to one place; to be part of a community and a landscape as well as a family.
That wasn’t a very long read. :)
The rest didn’t post. Will try again.
Why bother?
Agreed. Actions always speak louder than words.
Q: How can you tell MacCain is lying?
A: His lips are moving.
I tire of the endless propaganda put out by Juan MaCain.
1. Anti-Free Speech
2. Ultra-Left Wing Amnesty position
3. Believes in a complete hoax, Global Warming.
4. Thinks his fellow Socialists will allow him to appoint Constructionist judges.
5. Misses the point that him Amnesty plan will require large tax increases.
Q. How can you tell
McCain is getting ready to lie to Conservatives?
A. He inhales.
I would like to read the rest of the story, thank you very much.
U.S. MILITARY 2008!
Yeah, well, I’m waiting to read/hear his remarks before LaRaza. It will tell much about where he is now.
So as you infer, Hussein is a better Conservative?
When did you put the “Hussein 2008” bumper sticker on your car?
Interesting read. Unfortunately, the typical American voter cares little about candidates’ backgrounds these days and cares more about what the candidate can promise them...
I was going to say we could go to the source for the rest of it, but there doesn’t seem to be any source.
McCain HQ fax machine, perhaps?
Grape or Cherry?
Now, goose-step over to the fax machine and get today's marching orders from RNC party central.(So much easier to do what the party says than to think for yourself.
Typical internet BS.
Here you go, a guy after your own heart, good with goose-stepping to either Obama or McCain’s cadence:
“I first met McCain 10 years ago when I was a working at The Arizona Republic. What I remember is that, in a political climate where so many elected officials Republican and Democrat alike were wearing themselves out pandering to **racists who demanded action on illegal immigration,** McCain was one of the few who didn’t play that game.”

“I could imagine, with a little envy, what it must have been like for the McCains who came before me to be so connected to one place; to be part of a community”
Interesting statement. May give an indication why he has no special attachment to the sovereignty of this nation and believes illegal aliens have just as much claim to it as the rest of us who are ‘so connected’.
McCain admitted he is a Liberal republican. He makes me want to throw up my lunch.
Tom Delay said that McCain did more damage to the Conservative movement the last 10 years than any other single person.
If McCain doesn’t move to the right he can go to H*ll as far as I am concerned.
It will be easier to fight a democrat POTUS then a republican. Republicans in congress will not be able not to go along with McCain.
And whatever damage that may befall the nation will be at the hands of RINO’s that put this POS McCain to run as our party’s man.
Screw McCain as he has screwed Conservatives for 10 years.
And no I did not say Obama the Marxist askwipe is more conservative than McCain.
This is by far the worst group I can ever recall running for this office.
If the republican delagates had any balls they would put someone else in McCains place.
