Oh WOW, did the inside of the bar resemble the set on the show?
I've wanted to visit Cheers, but I refuse to spend my vacation money
in a Liberal environment like Boston.

We never went in the crowds were too large and we only had a couple of days in Boston and wanted to visit other places such as the various museums and aquarium which we preferred to spend the time on rather than queing to go and see the insides of bar albeit a famous one :o).

By the way I thought Boston was highly overrated and much more enjoyed my time traveling through New England, Vermont and New York State. Niagara was incredible.
