Jeff, that’s an excellent analysis. Obama was formed in the Saul Alinsky school of political manipulation. A lot of his technique is based on crying victimhood and thus side-stepping any rational discussion of anything he says, does or is, assuming the mantle of virtue that goes with being “oppressed.” I was actually pretty impressed at how he sallied forth immediately to claim victimhood here; it was a preemptive strike, and it worked.
