Can they really be considered men?

The Clintons are undoubtedly extremely nasty, but... “hypnotic”? I don’t think so. That’s a redefinition that doesn’t quite approach “is”, but “is” moving in that direction.

Hillary is a strange bird.

She’s like a crook who says “now you be still while I pick your pocket”, and the hutzpah and unmitigated gall paralyze your normal reactions so you stand there while it happens.

That said, it is very powerful men who succumb to her alien persona, or very weak men who hope some of her perceived power will rub off on them.

The “everyday” men who make this country work, as Rush describes them, can’t stand Hillary and are immune to her compelling strangeness.

Hillary has control over men who wear eyeglasses that turn up at the corners, or have some tortoise shell thing going.

It's almost an ancient survival of the human species trait.

Men have compassion towards a woman in stress.

Of course the jury is out on whether the Hildabeast is actually a woman or not.

Brock slowly fell under Hillary's spell,

That is not how I remember it. Brock, who is a homosexual, fell hard for another boy on Hillary's staff. Whether, Hillary pimped her staffer out on Brock is a matter I would leave to PMSNBC pretty boy David Shuster, who would seemed qualified to sniff that story out for more than one reason.

“Hillary’s Hypnotic Hold Over Men”

I’m thinking it’s more a “deer caught in the headlights before getting hit by a 4X4” look than hypnotic.

Truth be told, Hillary shakes a man's hand with one hand and steals his gonads with the other, in a pickpocket-type move. She then locks them in a box and proceeds to tell the guy how he can get them back one day if he will only ...

That's how she gets everything done. Bill only gets to peer inside the box and visit with his once in a great while, and he knows that he will never get them back.

I can think of three explanations.

1. She has amazing, hypnotic personal charisma. You don’t necessarily see that from photos or TV, until you meet someone with that quallity in person. I once was introduced to Adlai Stevenson at the club tennis courts—not someone I would have thought charismatic from photos or speeches—and he absolutely shone with brilliant light from twenty feet away. I imagine bill clinton probably has such charisma, but hillary—no.

2. She makes them offers they can’t refuse. This was the case when she was in power, or when she threatened to get back into power. As long as there’s the smallest chance she might conceivably get back into the White House, no one dared to cross her.

3. She buys people. The clintons have billions stashed away. That may yet be the tool that will help them win.

Please tell me you didn't misspell "seized" in the actual book title.

Oh my. How embarrassing. Thankfully, it is spelled correctly on the book cover. The mistake appears only on my Web site, from which I copied this article.

Thanks for pointing it out!
