Denmark, long the liberal, open society that welcomed immigrants, has done an about face. After being the symbolic envy of Universalists, of Socialists, of cultural liberalism, Denmark today has the strictest immigration policy in Europe.

The Muslim population in Denmark, constituting a mere 4% of the total, refuses to integrate, consumes 40% of the welfare, and constitutes a majority of the country’s convicted rapists.

The Danes now acknowledge that their core values of personal liberty, free speech, equality for women and tolerance of other ethnic groups are incompatible with Islam as they know it.

Muslim leaders openly advocate introducing Islamic law in Denmark. Danes at the forefront of advocating free speech and Western values are subject to fatwas and increasingly violent attacks from the Muslim population.

Swedish authorities in the southern city of Malmo have been busy with a sudden influx of Muslim immigrants — 90 percent of whom are unemployed .

“If we park our car it will be damaged — so we have to go very often in two vehicles, one just to protect the other vehicle,” said Rolf Landgren, a Malmo police officer.

Fear of violence has changed the way police, firemen and emergency workers do their jobs.

There are some neighborhoods Swedish ambulance drivers will not go to without a police escort. Angry crowds have threatened them, telling them which patient to take and which ones to leave behind.

Because Sweden has some of the most liberal asylum laws in Europe, one quarter of Malmo’s 250,000 population is now Muslim, changing the face and the idea of what it means to be Swedish. Asylum seekers may bring spouses, brothers and grandparents with them. Civil servants say the city is swamped.

Norwegian Authorities Still Covering Up Muslim Rapes... Although there are indications of a very high percentage of Muslim immigrants on the statistics, as it is with other kinds of crime, immigration is a non-issue for the political establishment a few weeks ahead of the Swedish national elections. In neighboring Norway, there is an unprecedented rape wave in the capital city of Oslo.

I forwarded this story to an ultra-liberal friend of mine ...Here is what he had to say :

We went through this with a Danish friend
last year, and I spent about a day trolling through Danish statistics,
most of which I’ve forgotten and I don’t have time to revisit now. The
figures are seriously cherry-picked: the 4% refers to immigrants, while
the 40% of the welfare (if that statistic is right, and I have my
doubts) covers native-born Muslim Danes as well, of whom there are at
least as many again. Denmark also spends a great deal of its welfare
budget on immigrants, and Muslims make up a great percentage of those.
The rape figure is a canard as well: as I recall, they don’t keep
figures broken down that way, so the claim is impossible to prove (or
deny). Denmark doesn’t have a high incidence of rape anyway, and rape
is much more prevalent among lower-income groups, where most of the
Muslims are. Once you’ve averaged everything else out, the Muslims in
Denmark are no less law-abiding than other Danes. The vast majority of
them are taxpayers who work hard at integrating themselves into Danish
life (as have my brother’s in-laws in Canada); there is a minority of
‘professional Muslims’ whose activities are given oxygen by
fear-mongering among the ‘native’ Danish population, and propaganda
like this has the effect of trashing the efforts that this vast
majority of them makes, in Denmark and everywhere else they have gone
to. If the Muslim immigrants weren’t there, Denmark—and just about
everywhere else in western Europe—would cease to function, the same
way the U.S. would cease to function if all the Mexicans went ‘home’.

Stop funding the welfare state. If 4% of the population consumes 40% of the welfare, then the other 96% needs to grow a spine and tell them to shove off.

I'd be happy to give that a try. Send them home. Deport them. The void will soon be filled.

The "pool" test is my favorite technique. Swim to the deep end, then climb out. If there's a hole in the water, you're not replaceable. I haven't seen anyone beat that one yet.

An ummitigated pile of manure. Do you think Mexicans are the only hard-working people in the world looking for a better opportunity than what exists in their own country? If we shut off the border, believe me there'd be plenty of people from other parts of the world ready to fill the jobs. Mexicans are exceptionally hard workers, but anyone can be replaced.
