Texas: Plano man Joe Barron, 52, a minister at Prestonwood Baptist Church near Dallas, was arrested after driving nearly 200 miles to Bryan to meet who he thought was a 13-year-old girl he had been chatting with sexually online for roughly two weeks.
The girl was actually an undercover agent leading police to Barron and his car, inside of which they found condoms and a web-cam. He had been with the 26,000-member church for 18 months; they said this was the first incident of this type with Barron.
Executive pastor Mike Buster said, "We are disturbed and saddened by the reports we have heard and we are praying for the Barron family," adding that they are giving police their full cooperation. He is currently out on bond from Brazos County Jail.
Maybe they can keep it a secret and send him to another district where no one knows that he is a child molester.
"One of the important differences between abuse by male teachers and priests is that teachers are typically accused of misconduct with high school girls while priests have more often been accused of misconduct with prepubescent boys. They are both very wrong, but we think about them differently."
Then you must have some evidence, unless that was as dishonest a claim as it sounded.
Wasn’t it a car dealership at one point? Or do I have my churches mixed up? Our high school used Prestonwood for it’s graduation classes. Two of my kids “graduated” from Prestonwood!
Execute the dirtball.
A single possible that you didn’t even post the conclusion to, we don’t know how that ended, but it isn’t much of a pattern.
You might be thinking about the Lutheran Church, south of Park, on the east side of Midway. As I recall the church bought out the defunct car dealership, and now run their Church and school from that location. Prestonwood Baptist is on the North-West corner of Park and Midway.
Spamming the thread with these full articles is not making your case.
Neither one tells us what the result of the claim was and they are only two.
If you keep posting articles that imply something you may be able to post 2 or 6 or who knows 23, but why not just publish some simple facts to support yourself, such as a summary of an investigative piece or a study of some sort.
In other words you grabbed that accusation out of thin air.
I don't know what glass house that would be, I am usually defending Catholics on this subject, and I am not a Baptist.

Who would bail this A-Hole out of Jail?
