Boxer - Campaign Racial Talk Unimportant

California Sen. Barbara Boxer in an interview this week dismissed the uproar over whether likely Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama will be able to attract the white working class or women in November.

"Nobody's ever said to me, I'm not voting for you because you're Jewish, and I don't believe they vote that way, or because you're a woman," Boxer said. "They want to know what I believe in, what I care about, not the color of my skin or my religion. I just really get insulted by that, to be honest. I really do."

As a super delegate, Boxer has promised to cast her vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton because Clinton won the California primary March 4 and Boxer believes her vote should reflect the wishes of the state's Democratic voters.

"I think in many cases women endorsed Hillary for the pride factor, and just as African Americans supported Barack for the pride factor," Boxer said. "I think there are definitely issues that divide people in this country, and mostly it's around economics, and what income class they're in, and when you get to the general they're going to look at that, not what color skin is McCain and what color skin is Barack."

What will be paramount, she said, is "who's going to be pushing forward policies that protect me in the workplace, that protect equal pay for equal work, that protect the woman's right to choose."

Boxer's career is based in large part on her feminist credentials. We vote against you because you’re a pandering, posturing MORON.

Hags vote for the other hags in their covens because they're confident they know the spells.

That's only because it's a leftist talking it. And one you probably fantasize about.

Which brings up an interesting point: Is there any action on Intrade about how long Obama's mistressess will stay silent?

Or are they all dead?
