Probably yes that all libs and the media think Republicans are all the same. But the Bush = McCain is not going to get Obama the presidency in the general election, not with 5-6 months to go.
Here is the problem, well not really since the rats just ignore the law, but I believe the ‘order of succession’ is even written for candidates, in that if the President Elect is unable to take office, the VP elect acends to the Presidency. Now, a question for those far smarter than me. Does this also apply to the presidential ticket PRIOR to the election? Would Obama’s VP choice automatically rise to the top and select a running mate? Or since it is prior to the election, is there no “rules” written and the previous ticket dissolves and an entirely new ticket formed?

Realistically, Romney. I think he has gotten a bad rap from a lot of Freepers about his performance as the governor of Massachusetts.
Also, I think he is by far the smartest, and most relevantly experienced of the original primary candidates. Plus he understands economics, which in my mind is critical.
I know a lot of Freepers hate him, but I think their hatred is misplaced.
But even if it wasn’t Romney — I would be happy at this point with almost ANYBODY besides McCain.
I said on Wednesday that the Dems would do just that.
