Obama might win California, NY, Conn, Vermont, Mass., Maine, R.I., Illinois, Washington, Oregon, hawaii. That’s about it.
To: Tijeras_Slim; Phantom Lord
Not on the issue of nation security or appeasing the enemy. McCain and Bush will be on the same policy page.
To: Phantom Lord
Won’t happen. The Dems can’t afford to alienate African-Americans.

It may very well have been an unintentional mistake which naturally corrects itself. Hamas has a 12x2 mile, 1.2 million people, stretch of land but they are impotent. Fatah still controls the main chunk of Palestinian area.

Didnt I hear him say he was willing to debate President Bush? lol Oh how I wish our President would take him up on this! I think fondly of the 2004 debates against the Effete Monsieur John Effin Kerry. Prior to the debates, the Dims were all atwitter in their belief that Kerry was a brilliant intellectual with amazing debating skills who was going to wipe the floor against a dim-witted, communication-impaired (R) President. Au contraire, Bush gave their golden child a bit of a smack-down without hardly breaking a sweat. I can only imagine how stupid Bush could make Dumbobama look in a debate! Bring.It.On! That's a debate that would be made of awesomeness, and one that could possibly restore a little bit of joy in a very demoralized (R) base.

Oh please, the “Quartet” of Russia, UK, US, Spain, that formed in 2002, devised this stupid “Road Map to Peace”, under the UN’s balderdash, just to pretend like they were doing something for the Pals.
Everyone knew, including President Bush, that decades long rationalizations by the Islamic Cults, ie, Hamas, that they wanted a “seat at the table” was never going to happen.
And Hamas has proved themselves unable to govern, for the world to see. Their bluff has been called, they have failed. Israel has ever right to attack, and defend themselves, and the "world" is running out of excuses for terrorists.

I agree.
Bush made some mistakes, from which we can recover.
Obama will get us killed.

I think we probably haven’t seen the ‘real’ Obama yet...he’s had an influential mentor in Rev. Wright; it wouldn’t surprise me any if hysterical outbursts were the norm for Obama. Maybe he and McCain can have a ‘scream-off’ to decide the winner this fall.

I agree - most (nearly all) leftists here and worldwide are more in sympathy with Iran than with the USA, especially on these issues. Leftists believe that Iran is standing up to the eviiilll imperialist and colonialist powers of Israel and the USA. Most leftists WANT Iran to have nuclear weapons and WANT Iran to enjoy expanding influence and power throughout the region. They see it as a counter-weight to the USA and of course they loathe Israel. Western leftists and the Iranian Mullahs are in a depraved "Unholy Alliance" as David Horowitz says.... and our Demagogues truly are "The Party of Defeat"......
That's why I said ...."Or do they try to vindicate left-wing polices of anti-US appeasement weasels around the world?" [which is what they really believe]

Mr. Obama, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul
