Excellent point. It's usually because they THINK they're superior to everyone else and so deserve to live better and be worshipped by the inferior masses who need to rely on them for instruction and guidance. They figure in a communist state, they will be among the party elite.

My point is that he is a Marxist politically, but his theological presentation (for now) is a veneer of Christian over a substantial body of Islamic vengeful anger. That's why I used the religious term instead of your political term.

He was also a muslim ans a communist active in 1960s Kenyan politics. It was his pro-USSR, marxist activity that got him banned from Kenyatta's government and led to his being in Hawaii in the first place.
