The California Supreme Court, in a 4-3 majority, attempted a new form of alchemy today. They tried to change homosexual partnerships into something they simply are not capable of being, marriage.
They did so through a raw exercise of renegade judicial authority which clearly rejected the expressed will of the people of California. They did so without even making any pretense of relying on past precedent. They simply declared, in the words of the majority, that protecting marriage as a lifelong relationship of love between a man and a woman which forms the foundation of the first society of the family "cannot properly be viewed as a compelling state interest."...
The action taken by this Court will not stand. It will be brought before the electorate again in November. However, it reveals just how serious this struggle has become. Along with asking all three current candidates for President where they stand on the rights of children in the womb, this presents us with another obligation and opportunity.
So I ask the three major Party candidates, Senators Clinton, McCain and Obama:
Where do you stand on action taken by the California Supreme Court today and what will you do about it if you are elected as President?

Maybe the justices can find in the constitution where it is illegal to grant tenure. While they are at it see if they can pick out the area in the constitution that states justices can be fascists. They read everything else into the constitution they certainly shouldn’t have a problem finding these in it.
In November there is a constitutional proposal to define marriage as a man and a woman. There are over a million signatures to put it on the ballot. It will be interesting to see how the left uses the courts to keep it off. If it does pass, then the fallout will be interesting. If it doesn't the left will use this to enforce gay marriage nationwide.
National Review has stated both Clinton and Obama have made statements they would repeal the Federal DOMA. What remains is the press propaganda on the issue. Soon it will be evident whether the nation is in decline or shrugging off years of socialist movement.
In reading the decision, it makes about as much sense as Roe v. Wade. You have to stand on your head, face south-southeast, hold one hand out at a 28 degree angle and wear lucky underwear. Legally, its mumbo jumbo and a travesty of the Constitution both of California and the US.
And all that really happened is that gays get to use the word ‘marriage’. That’s it. Nothing else happened. This was all about trying to keep queers from feeling bad about being in ‘civil unions’. And at least two of the dissenters who favor gay marriage had the sanity to admit that they were legally unable to enact it as justices. The other four didn’t feel the compunction to follow the law.
Romans
001:024 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
001:025 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
001:026 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
001:027 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
