Most people don't want to give up power, they don't want for government (bureaucrats) to decide when they die (or what medical procedures they can/cannot have) BUT they are too lazy to do the work themselves (too lazy to pay for their own damn health care) and too stupid to study history and understand bigger government = less personal freedom.
