Israel didn’t exist in 1909 did it? What was the name of the country where the city was in 1909?

During the Cold War, the Unitied States had “Radio Free Europe” to broadcast information into eastern Europe and the Soviet Union to counter the disinformation of the communists. Although it was frequently jammed and getting caught listening to it carried penalties, the West never shut down the service as long as eastern Europe was behind the Iron Curtain.
Does Israel have anything similar to deal with lies like this? While it is informative for me to know this, what is critical is for Arabs to hear - or at least have the chance to hear - the falsehoods disputed when the occur. One might say that MEMRI on the the Internet counterbalanced the Arab broadcast/cable media but I’m not sure that is so...

LOL!!! Here DownUnder, calling someone a “bunny” is a mildly-abusive pejorative, for which I know of no direct US equivalent. Closest might be “doofus” or “dumbass”, but it doesn’t quite capture the fluffy essence of true “bunny-dom”.
It’s not often Hamas gives me a cause for pants-wetting humor in the morning, so today is a remarkable occasion!

"A new Hamas television show for children teaches that Tel Aviv was an Arab city called Tel Al-Rabi before Jews took it over."
The same television show also teaches that the world is flat, the moon is made of green cheese, babies are delivered by the stork, Santa's sled is pulled by six purple hippos, and if you eat lots and lots and lots of prunes and bran and yell "allahu furbar" real, real loud, American and Israeli missiles won't fry your nasty@ss terrorist selves into Hell where Satan will greet you with 72 "virgins" that look like a cross between Rosie O'Donnell and Helen Thomas.
