History according to Hamas: Tel Aviv was Arab City

(IsraelNN.com) A new Hamas television show for children teaches that Tel Aviv was an Arab city called Tel Al-Rabi before Jews took it over. The city actually was founded by Jews in 1909 outside the former Arab-dominated city of Yafo.

In the video clip, translated by The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the grandfather of a bunny says, "We used to live in the most beautiful place in Palestine…. This place was called Tel Al-Rabi, but the Zionists and Jews Hebraicized the name to Tel Aviv…. I have documents and proof. I have all the papers here. The documents are right here with me…. [The Jews] invented all these names. Ashdod is, in fact, Isdud. Ashkelon is, in fact, Al-Majdal."

The Arab metropolis of Tel Al-Rabi, 1909, at the instant of the Zionist takeover.

The Zionist settlement of Tel Aviv, built on the buldozed Arab homes Tel Al-Rabi prominent in the photo above.

In 1909 it was inhabited by Jews and Arab occupiers.

Actually part of the Ottoman Empire. The Turks were happy to have Jews move in, good for the tax base.

doesn’t Trinity Church own a nice chunk of NYC? I remember reading about “well, in 1600 someone gave us xxx acres” in Manhattan. Quite a gift, especially now

It was called “Ottoman Empire.” The last country to exist there ended in 628 CE/AD. IT was called, “Sassanian JEWISH Commonwealth” (empasis all mine). That land held 1,322 years of Jewish sovereignity before the first arrived, so better luck demonising another country.
