ummmm.....he’s talking about what he envisions the “future” to be, not the current situation.

Tomorrow he will be giving a speech about how Cancer has been cured, world hunger has been solved, and how profitable our Mars base has become.
That's his "second term" accomplishment speech. Tune in tomorrow.

ummmm.....hes talking about what he envisions the future to be, not the current situation.
Now would those governors be Arnold, Napolitano, Richardson, and Perry?
So he gets two socialists (Napolitano and Richardson) a socialist wannabe (Arnold) and a RINO (Perry) to sign off that the border is secure?
Why wait until the end of his administration, these four clowns already think the border is secure and just wish the issue would go away.
It that the great plan McAmnesty has to seal the border?
How do you see that working effectively?

That was my first thought as I read this. I was thinking perhaps he’d grabbed the wrong sheathe of prewritten speeches or the likes thereof, but regardless something into the future.
Holding that door open to all those illegals makes me think of McCain as an effective La Raza doorstop.

Yes, it states in the article;
McCain - describe what I would hope to have achieved at the end of my first term
