The agenda goes on to argue that laws need to be changed to provide American families with "more freedom in their jobs; greater health care and retirement security; safer communities; access to quality, affordable education; and the ability for future generations to compete in the global economy." ...and was authored by Michael Dukasis.

Sounds like a bunch of BS without specifics. How about change to that slashes the hell out of the federal budget and exposes the fraud of global warming

Sounds just like Democrats, promise the goods but never having the realistic ideas of how to get to the goods.

House Minority Whip Roy Blunt added that the party needs "to do what we need to do over the next few months to make sure the American people connect our message with us." And this is how they are going to "connect?"
The GOP is freaking doomed.
Former National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Davis, a congressman from Virginia, says Tuesday's loss could lead to a devastating finish come November.
"The Republican reputation is just in the trash can, and if this were a brand of dog food, you would just take it off the shelf, because nobody is buying it," he said.
So keep moving the cans to the left. - yeah, that will solve everything.
when they are gone.

What's wrong?
You don't think "We won't bankrupt the country quite as quickly as the Democrats" is a winning slogan?

That's something they'll never do. They're on the global warming BS wagon. It's a money making and tax increasing scam and hoax that has them all seeing dollar signs.
The GOP will reap just what they deserve by going along with this nonsense.
Lord help us all.

"Today's families face challenges that yesterday's laws don't address. Sixty percent of mothers with children under are 6 are now working outside the home. The majority of families have not one parent working but both parents working." And how much of that is because of the expansion of local, state and federal taxes? If the Congress increases programs and taxes, families will have to find a third job to be able to pay for all the "free" stuff.

Republicans in MS did not bother to get out and vote, and a Dem won with no more votes than the Dems have raised in the past. This ‘new’ Republican national agenda is shallow and rather insulting in its socialist way. Gas will be higher in the fall. I don’t think Reps will turn out nationally , burn the gas, to come out for this....and, I think Mississippi was very relevant. This agenda is like a golf shot into the woods with no ball recovery.

I don’t know that this insanity can be fixed; nor do I think it is worth the effort any longer.
The Republican Party has morphed into something unrecognizable, from its Presidential nominee on down to its state parties and candidates.
Created in 1854- Destroyed in 2008.
Nothing lasts forever. It is time for a real Conservative American Party.
Thanks to Lincoln and Reagan, the GOP did destroy two evils: slavery and Soviet Communism.
But the ashheap of history beckons, and the present GOP leadership can not resist the siren call.

Pathetic. We don’t “deserve” this.
To: tobyhill
The change we deserve is a viable 3rd Party.
