Thanks for the update. Many prayers up for Jim AND the family. My father had his leg removed just above the knee for diabetes infection and gangrene set in. He did fine for another15 years.

If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out. Yes, I know it’s easy for me to say, it’s not my eye but it’s like a woman’s breast. We’d miss it but it’s not our core being.
I suppose the above sounds heartless and cruel but I’m being selfish and thinking of us, your Freepers. This baby you started and raised to fruition at Free Republic. We need you. It appears you were the one who created the voting polls because I’ve not seen one since you left. Time to get back where you belong.

Took a bunch of neighbor kids and my own kids out to the Demo on the Mall ~ and to see the FR crowd ~ they're mostly here in my basement at the moment.
