I will say special prayers for his pain, and a smoothed out recovery and adjustment. He’s been battling quite a lot and needs help in this battle!!

All the anesthesia is wearing off. Tell Jim to take whatever pain pills the docs prescribe. Now is the time. It will help in his overall healing to be free of most of the pain.
Dr. Zoo has some Phantom painkillers, but he is in the laboratory working on a turbo kinetic prosthesis with fuel injection.
Otherwize he would be there in a Fresno minute with the phantom square cyberneedle.
Jim, with his experience in the Navy with gyroscopes, is helping design the balancing mechanizm

Glad you are home; at least, when you do sleep, nurses won’t take you up for pills and vital signs. It’s next to impossible to sleep in a hospital and you can only eat when they want you to eat. Screw hospitals except for absolutely necessary intervention. So very glad you are out of there.
