What's his plan for dealing with AQ? Ending waterboarding and closing Gitmo? Yeah, that's brilliant. We need to "stay in" Iraq, but only as a BATTLE that we need to win on the way to VICTORY. I don't see McCain showing the slightest sense of what the larger battlefield looks like.

That is an excellent point, and one I hadn't considered. With his clearly-demonstrated adherence to liberal economics and cultural values, on what principle would McCain fight the Islamofascist war?

I proudly voted for him for the senate in 1986 and 1992. He was a fine senator back then. That’s what makes his subsequent betrayals even worse.
I used to have a real nice personalized autographed picture of him. It would have been worth some bucks if he wins. I ripped it up after one of his many betrayals. I didn’t want a picture of a liberal in my house. But somewhere in my stuff is a picture I had taken with him. It hasn’t been destroyed yet.
