McCain will take the path of least resistance with judges, as he has for at least ten years. He will appoint exactly one judge like Alito or Roberts. When they fail, he will go along with his friends and nominate someone they will like. I expect support for Iraq will follow the same path. The man has proven over and over that he has no principles, he takes the path that allows him to appear to be a success. McCain-Feingold, McCain-Lieberman, McCain-Kennedy... if they had not been running against each other, I would have expected a McCain-Clinton or McCain-Obama by now.

If he has any coat-tails, it will be to bring in Left of Center candidates like himself. We lose either way. If this impending disaster gets blamed upon Republicans/Conservatives, then the future is more dark.

I think you are exactly right. It would be entirely consistent with his long-held dislike of conservatives.

Minor point but he will not appoint one judge like Roberts, he will nominate one judge (best case scanerio), he will as a general rule appoint the likes of Spector.

Really? I thought that's the one issue in which he really believes. Although he does oppose Gitmo and waterboarding, which I see as poor judgment derived from his own experience as a POW. Hm.

You're clairvoyant now? You must be tired from all that jumping to conclusions. You must have to lie to yourself on other substantive issues, in your world do abortions matter to you?

That's OK, our system of government allows idiots to vote for symbolism over substance, moonbats do it all the time. Knock yourself out.

I hope you enjoy President Obama, I won't.
