I sense Rush is going to be moody for the rest of the show. This show is getting interesting today. :)

We intend to ally ourselves with other great conservative organizations such as the Heritage Foundation, the Eagle Forum, the Center for Security Policy, and many others to affect this change. Learn more at our website and contact us to get involved in the next phase of the Reagan Revolution. The country cannot afford to wait God Bless the good old USA.

I hate McQueeg.
If I didn't think he'd appoint better judges than Obama I'd stay home too.
These idiots that use some perverted principle to ignore that will be responsible for more abortions.

I agree.
There's more to lose with a Dem in the White House in '09.

Why would supposed Conservative Republicans or any Republican, vote for a member of the UnAmerican Democrat Party in Mississippi?They see no difference between how the two parties act in Washington, so they vote for the one out of power when the candidates "appear" equal, hoping for a change in the status quo.

I noticed yesterday that Rush sounded very dispirited about the state of the party and the Republicans’ chances in the Fall.
I think he’s envisioning a “Wilderness Experience” for the GOP in upcoming years.

I think hes envisioning a Wilderness Experience for the GOP in upcoming years. He does, ansd so do I. And I agree with him that the RNC/NRSC/NRCC will read the losses as proof they need to move even more to the left.

Rush just said there are few conservatives in the Republican Party. Unfortunate but true.

The shame in all this is that none of the current candidates has the good of the nation at heart....only their own aspirations.

You have to lie to yourself to vote 3rd party.
As stupid as McQueeg is he's light years ahead of Obama.

Another party I've been looking at: Constitution Party
http://www.constitutionparty.com/
Here is their PLATFORM: Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:
1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4. Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5. Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6. States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the state and local jurisdictions;
7. American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.
I'm not to THRILLED with #7.

And I agree with him that the RNC/NRSC/NRCC will read the losses as proof they need to move even more to the left.It's so frustrating. It's as though they completely fail to understand ANYTHING about the Reagan era. Rush has said it for years: when Republicans campaign as conservatives, they win. When they campaign as liberals, they lose.

I hope Rush touches on a story I heard on Fox Cable this AM.
A school in Bloomberg Wisconson voted two days ago to forbid a young US Marine to wear his Marine Corp dress blues to his HS graduation.

With McCain’s history over the last ten years, how can anyone trust him to do anything a Conservative would like? The only times his vote went with the Conservatives was when it would make no difference in the passing of the final bill. When he could make a difference, he did - for the other party.
