AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

It drives me NUTS that come September, Rush will be badgering us to vote for McCain! Remember how mad he was that so many "Republicans" lost in the last Election cycle?

Honestly, if anyone is responcible for the liberalization for the Republican Party, it is Rush...for supporting ANY “Republican” that comes along!

2 votes for embryonic stem cell research (most recent 4/2007)

Endorsed by Republicans for Choice.

“I’d love to see a point where Roe vs. Wade is irrelevant, and could be repealed because abortion is no longer necessary. But certainly in the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade, which would then force women in America to [undergo] illegal and dangerous operations.” Aug 24, 1999

McCain’s former Senate colleague, Rick Santorum, an indefatigable champion of the unborn, has stated that, behind the scenes in the Senate, McCain did his best to prevent pro-life legislation from coming to a vote on the floor.

As long as the abortion issue is safely in the hands of the Court, Republicans can tantalize pro-life voters with the prospect of future nominees while continuing to blame the Court for lack of progress on the issue. Indeed, Robert Novak, in his outstanding memoir Prince of Darkness, reports that George H. W. Bush appointed David Souter to the Supreme Court knowing full well that Souter favored Roe, despite the many promises Bush had made to pro-lifers over the years. And Souter’s champion in the Senate was John McCain’s friend and ally, former New Hampshire senator Warren Rudman, who knew of, and shared, Souter’s pro-abortion views.

More importantly, who would notice?

Liberals, who are always more interested in pretend problems than in real ones.

Rush keeps trying to garner sympathy for the old shrew, Mrs. Clinton, but I just don't feel any whatsoever. She deserves what she is getting. For all of her snotty arrogant snobbiness throughout these 16 years, she's getting what she has so ruthlessly sowed.

The drivebys, the democrat party has stood faithfully by, and more faithful than Bill has stood by Hillary, the scandalous Clintons all these years, even when he was impeached, and even when she lost the House for them for the first time in 40 years because of her stubborn audacity to take over our health care decisions. They stood firm like musk ox surrounding their precious Clintons from the VRWC.

But, enough is enough. Maybe, they are just sick of them. Maybe they know deep down who Mrs. Clinton truly is. Oh, they can make Hillary appear sweet, charming, smart with her bottle blond hair, carefully applied make-up and colorful pantsuits, and even with all the promises and pretense of being a moderate church going duck hunting lily pure country girl, she's just one mean and nasty power hungry control freak old hag who wants to turn this country into her own image.

So, Rush, I don't feel sympathy for the devil. And, I don't know why you do. What happened to your character judging meter?

Juan Williams is certainly no fan...he was a scream on the Panel last night. He made a comment about Barry that actually had me cheering. Now if he could just get over his crush on Mrs. Clinton...

I'm very pro-life myself, but I think single-issue pro-life voting (or single-issue voting in any area) is a grave mistake, and partially responsible for the fix we are currently in.

People end up supporting a candidate because he appears to share their values in that key regard, while disregarding all the others on which he differs greatly. An unscrupulous pol can easily bamboozle a lot of voters that way.

In PA, the Democrats got around the Catholic vote by running an ostensibly pro-life Democrat, Bob Casey, against Rick Santorum. Now, Casey has endorsed the very pro-choice candidate Obama. So much for that principle.

“Rush keeps trying to garner sympathy for the old shrew, Mrs. Clinton.”

It is called satire. If you don’t like or understand satire you really are pretty much missing 80% of Rush.

HOT Water PING!!!

This is why Rush fears not. There is no way these sponsors would allow him to be taken off. He makes them so much money. I wonder how many Chevy’s he sold today.
