That is the exact narrow agenda that got the GOP in the fix it’s in along with unconditional support for Bush and the Iraq war. The turning point was Terri Schiavo. It’s been downhill sledding ever since. Complete and utter baloney. The clumsy handling of the Iraq war got Bush's approvals down to the 45% range. The border got it sub 30%. His profligate spending got it down into the 20%s.

In my experience, the only people who have a negative view of Bush for Terri Schiavo are pro-death wack-jobs who were never going to vote for him anyway.

I agree. Global warming is here. We might as well gear up companies in THIS contry to make money off of it instead of other countries developing the patents and R&D first. BIG $$$$ Money will be made off of global warming.We might as well jump on the bandwagon

The slaughter in November will only push the GOP further left. As in I expect in the mid term elections, they will try to run to the left of the DNC.

Which will leave me and mine with some very hard choices. Trouble is, there is no place left to go.
