a chinese boy have words to say to MARKUSPRIME and others

Posted on 05/13/2008 10:59:47 PM PDT by chinaboy

To: All I want to let the chinese that are really here for support know that I am sorry for being so rude, and crass during this time. Now I do not like the CCP at all and belive in democracy for everyone. I feel angry and jaded at the world at this moment in my life because someone really close to me in my family died a few weeks ago. I have had a rough year and can be very snappy and mean at times. I do apologize and my prayers go out to all the innocents lost. I was just thinking about this last night about my family and my loss and thought I would say sorry.

845 posted on 2008年5月13日 21:24:14 by MARKUSPRIME --------------------------------------------------------- Hello,MARKUSPRIME,I feel sorry about your family. Our existence is far more tenuous than we might think.Place your hand over your chest and feel your heartbeat. That is actually your life clock ticking, and one day it will stop. That is 100 percent guaranteed, and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.Like everyone else,we will have some days that are better than others.Occasionally, everything may seem like a total disaster area.Just like the tough times we have.So let us give our prayers to all kindly people and thanks to the god for we still alive.

MARKUSPRIME,I am a Chinese,15 years old student in nanning, guangxi province.I also lost my father because the cancer in 2 years ago.I felt very sad ,very helpless but didn’t felt hopeless.Because I know my father never leave away from me.And my father taught me that ever problem has a lifespan. No problem is permanent.Storms always give way to the sun.Winter always thaws into springtime. All problem will be solved. MARKUSPRIME,In this tough time, you may not be able to control the times, but you can compose your response. You can turn your pain into protanity---or into poetry.Of cause, the choice is up to you.You may not have chosen your tough time, but you can choose how you will react to it.

Life is very like a mirror:if you smile upon it ,it smiles back upon you;but if you frown and look doubtful on it ,you will get a similar look in return.Inner sunshine warms not only the heart of the owner, but of all that come in contact with it.who shuts love out,in turn shall be shut from love.

MARKUSPRIME,I guess you have never been to china before, and you know nothing about the Chinese culture and history at all.You learn about china form the Western media. I must to say, I really don’t see any love, generosity, friendship or cooperation from the recent report of Western media and politics, except full of bias/distortion. And Most of the time, you westerns don't really realize that they are just biases - you think you're just being reasonable.

So, MARKUSPRIME,I don’t want to talk about politics, but I want to tell you about my feeling,as an ordinary Chinese. In my experience, you (American/ westerns)always believe in youselves,as you do not believe in others. You permit all things to youselves, and that which you call sin in others. So you criticize all the time.

For me, I was rich,if not meney,in sunny hours and summer days.I can go shares my beatufull time with my nearest and dearest. So,however mean my life is,I just meet it and live it;never shut it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as I am.As we know, the fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. So I love my peaceful life, poor as it is.I may perhapshave some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poor-house.The setting sun is reflected from the window of the alms-house as brightly as from yours abode. So let me be grateful that I have suffered no intolerable wrong,no terrible woe of flesh or spirit, such as my fathers(grandfathers). Is it not much to have accomplished so large a part of the mortal journey with so much ease?

This day,I pay my attention to some guys’ words, those makes me feel confused. I don’t know why do we get so hung up on what we don’t agree on,when in fact it’s our differences that make life interesting? After all, half the world is upside down,so there’s absolutely no reason why we would all agree on everything.Even something as basic and profound as”Don’t chew with your mounth open” is not as widely accepted as you might think.

Why is it that when passions are inflamed we choose to argue and fight, when dancing the cha-cha is less injurious, far more enjoyable, and equally effective in resolving thesion? And why do we feel drawn together sometimes, yet we steadily build up defensive barriers around our innermost feelings and beliefs so we can never be truly close to anyone?

I think , we all have filters on, so we mostly see only what we want to see.So, when you finally open your eyes, you may be shocked at the obscured way you have been viewing the world to suit your own little plans. With those filters removed, you can take a closer look into yourself and others.

Finally,I want to say, MARKUSPRIME,your apologetic post make me warm.So I decide to say some words to you and to all kindly American, whom pray for the vitcims in the earthquake.THANK YOU.In the end, MARKUSPRIME,I wanna say to you, tough times never last, but tough people do.Storms always give way to the sun.Winter always thaws into springtime.Your storm will pass.Your wither will thaw.Your problem will be solved. And ours too.(I expect you and all the american in this board can see what I said)

i still wondered how about the case if some one release words sympathizing Osama bin Laden or publicizing communism.

Yes, we are free to say anything. The only restrictions are no threats of violence or plans to commit real crimes. Americans are free to say anything against the government even if it is nonsense and even if it is a lie. Opinions are not restricted.

This is a private website though and the owners will not allow all opinions. The government has no say about that. Sympathizing with America's enemies on Free Republic is not appreciated and can result in a post being deleted or the poster being banned from the website.

Well, as I’ve said in another thread the other day, Fox News isn’t blocked in my country. Indeed, some websites are restricted here, but we have some tools to bypass them. And it’s not like what you thought that talking about politics is forbidden or something. We can post in many forums both home and abroad on politics. If you don’t believe me, you may go to Tianya and check out how anti gov. people there are.

And by the way, you may check this out if you like.

By this, I mean, govs will have their own rules to their own interests. It goes for China, and the US, too.

Have a nice day.

Wow, as a Chinese, you are much more “alert” than me. You really think Chinese cops or policemen would arrest you because of what you wrote just now??? I don’t think so.

Have you ever been to Tianya and posted some complaints or angers about our gov.? Seems like you haven’t.

And by the way, you may download a U89 to help you bypass YouTube, if you want.

How did you find out about us? Do you visit any other American political forums? Thanks.

Thanks for your understanding for us neebies. We came across this forum after the quake, got impressed by your prayers and kindheartedness(I’m not sure whether there is such a word = =), and just registered to say thanks, and that’s all. But when realizing we have so many, well, how to say, “bias” about each other, I decided to stay a little bit longer and try to communicate with you guys more. If there are any offences, please forgive me, ‘cause I didn’t intend to.

Actually, the thread “Children Killed In China Earthquake” was quoted on a Chinese forum, and the poster intended to tell us that many American friends are also praying for the victims. So we just stopped by and say thanks. And this is the very first American forum I’ve ever heard of...

us neebies

That is so charmingly cute.

It's newbies or noobies. Please stay in touch, newbie, but be wary of infection with Western thought. :)

I travel to your country two or three times a year. I’ve always been able to access FreeRepublic, FOX News and other American websites. No problem. In our frequent travels in China, I’ve always been met with kindness, generosity and respect.

Your people and your beautiful country are in my prayers.

Thanks for correcting.

And by the way, I’m majoring in English, even though not that versed, anyway, I’m pretty open to western thoughts and values. On the other hand, I hope you won’t immunize yourself from eastern ones, too.

Thank you, Phoebe.

We always enjoy our trips to China. I don’t like the nearly 24 hour travel time, but I am able to read some good books on the way.

I wish more Americans could make the trip. I know they would be very surprised at what they see and experience. Too many think of “Old China”. It really has changed over the years. I was so shocked to see McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Tony Roma’s restaurants. In the stores, I saw Campbell’s Soup, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, General Electric, Westinghouse, Liz Claiborne, Izod, Gucci.....and on and on.

So many Americans are upset with all the Chinese products coming to this country. From my experience, I saw far more American products in China. Commercial trade works both ways. So do open minds and hearts.

Continued prayers to you and yours.
