The voters cannot understand because it would take 5 minutes of their time to think things through.

Heath Shuler of NC is a perfect example of my analysis. He is a conservative only when it comes to campaign rhetoric.

Speaking of fund-raising, how do you explain that Oprah’s Obama has raised more than any other candidate in HISTORY anywhere?

Isn’t it true too that many American citizens believe in the principles of Marxism even if they reject the label “Marxist”? For instance, paying one’s “fair share” in taxes, “progressive” taxation, taxing “big” oil, taking care of grandma unless she gets TOO expensive, etc.

Well, are the people in Asheville as dumb (dense) as those in the rest of the country?

Let’s see if one is of the belief as I am that one believer in a false economic “religion” like Marxism is too many, the yest of course “... too many Americans believe...”

As for the particular issues you mention, I am not sure if all are Marxism:

1. “paying ones ‘fair share’ in taxes...” does not seem so Marist to me. I personally think the Dim policy of tax all the Republicans and take all Dims out of the income tax system is very divisive but not Marist. You can argue it is class welfare. But really to me it is self-interest. The typical Dim voter now believes only others should pay taxes.

2. “’progressive’ taxation” It certainly has Marist roots.

3. “taxing ‘big’ oil I guess many subscribers to this have Marist views, but I am less sure any tax on oil is a Marxist prescription.

4. “taking care of grandma unless she gets TOO expensive” I guess you are talking about social security and the possibility of some people being too expensive to treat?Social security particularly a partially privatized social secuirty system is not Marxist. It is a way so spreading risk, ie insurance. Socialized medicine and the government deciding who to treat is certainly socialist if not Marxist.
