No, this doesn’t belong under any heading called “Overthrowing the Government”.

In fact, this is far from it.

There aren’t any conservatives in Washington. They are all pandering empty suits.

Ya, this is a revolution through the ballot box.

Why is it that we have always had a two party system? In the beginning there were Federalists and Democratic-Republicans. Then the Whig Party rose up to be the other party opposite the Democrats. Then the Whig Party died and the Republicans rose up to be the opposition to Democrats. And these have been the same 2 major parties since the Civil War. There are many other minor parties, but none has the ability to challenge for national leadership. It would really shake up our political system if a new party were able to gain enough support to challenge the duopoly the Republicrats have.

Sounds like a plan to me. I can’t stay pissed at the GOP forever.

How about everyone just stay home from work for a week, stay home, spend no money, in protest?

with nobody working, nobody is paying into taxes and the money is what gets the government’s attention that the people are really, really pissed.

And yes, it is time for a new political movement.

OK - looked like the way I read it was fomenting revolution ... but that’s OK ... who said we needed the blood of patriots every so often to water the Revolution?

“OK - looked like the way I read it was fomenting revolution ... but that’s OK ... who said we needed the blood of patriots every so often to water the Revolution?”

Thomas Jefferson and George Washington and John Adams. Among others.

This effort is pointless or at least feckless.
There is already a fully funtioning Conservative party registered in all 50 states call the Constitutional Party. The sort of splintering and penny ante actions that this effore suggest will GUARANTEE that nothing will succeed against the GOPsellouts.

At much as this idea is laudable ones needs to gets very realityMinded if the rebellion is to come to any success anytime in the next 4 years.
The only way that any actions will have a chance is to get some Conservative congressmen to jump party and thereby boost the effort to bring the Conservative Constitutional Party into some actual (media acknowledged) national focus.
Not very different than what the GOP did to the Whigs in the 1850’s.

By packing the Constitutional party and not blathering with some other effort will create a powerful effort soonest rather than much later - too late to be of use.

Thomas Jefferson..

But i like this one better From the Declaration of Independence.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

“How about everyone just stay home from work for a week..”

I don’t think that that suggestion will be acceptable to any illegals with jobs here.
