Michael Moore making '9/11' sequel
Variety ^ | May 13, 2008 | PAMELA MCCLINTOCK, ANNE THOMPSON

Michael Moore is making a sequel to "Fahrenheit 9/11" for Paramount Vantage and Overture Films, who will shop the project to international buyers when the Cannes Film Festival and market get under way today.

The two companies are co-financing and co-producing the untitled documentary, which will be released in 2009. Overture will distribute the film domestically, while Vantage will handle international.

Moore may be leaving the Weinstein Co. -- where he made his last two films, including "Fahrenheit" -- but Overture and Vantage are no strangers to the filmmaker. Overture CEO Chris McGurk and COO Danny Rosett were both at MGM and United Artists, home of Moore's "Bowling for Columbine."

Moore, the ACLU, Cindy Sheehan, Berkeley, and all the other moonbats have been trying to facilitate another 9/11 ever since 9/12.

Amazing that there can be any market for such a vicious dishonest propagandist doing anything at all. Fahrencrap 911 has been so thoroughly discredited but the loony left never gets the message because they cannot allow themselves to confront actual facts.

Michael Moore knows capitalism. Feed the flock of sheep the crap they desire and you'll be a rich man. That's Capitalism 101 at its finest.

I believe that one of the reasons these Hollywood types are anti-American is because exporting their work is more profitable than trying to make money on it in the States.

Yawn. Moore is simply trying to cash in - again - off the election. My guess is he won’t garner nearly as much interest this time around. We already know what to expect from Moore from his past fantasies. So, like AlGore, Moore will make all sorts of wild, fabricated statements and allegations to try and generate controversy and draw the fire of conservatives. Meanwhile he cashes in and laughs all the way to the bank. Blah...blah...blah.

Michael Moore is a one trick pony.

Thats why soo much anti-american garbage comes out of hollywood these days. The movies are written and presented to make sure it will be profitable in Europe and 3rd world countries, as well as the US. Its become the studios saftey net incase the movie ends up bombing or just breaking even. Its also why soo many actors spew this hatred as well too. Not only does it increase their odds of work, but their salaries as well.

A bit more truthfully it should be fixed to say: Michael Moore is a fat, lying, one trick pony

Surprise, surprise... more Moore. Michael needs the cash to finance that fleet of ships that will be delivering more awards. And then extra cash for that 48 room extension to be built on his mansion to house the awards. He is always thinking about the little people.

You are SOOOOO right! Even folks on the ideological right in Britain and Italy are anti-American enough to believe this crap. My Italian friends were asking Moore’s anti-American medical system film. I kept telling them “to consider the source!”

If Moore figuratively blows up (he’s already as big as a Zeppelin) in this new film, I’d pay to see that. He should really be in an Animal Planet documentary: Moore vs. bull walrus - even odds.
