BO hasn’t changed a bit and if he does I won’t be tuned in to see it.

Wow, a true professional.

I don’t like Oh’Really, but come on.
I’ve been mad enough to throw a monitor(computer type, not a lizard) through a second story window before.
Maybe they had been having trouble with the thing for days and he was finally fed up. It happens.

That really has to be an old video. He hasn’t had that much hair for 10 years.

The best BOR blowup ever was when he had Neal Boortz on his show and BOR yelled at him, “You’re a vicious son of a bitch!”

And the point is? O’Reilly is annoyingly full of himself, but who care if he occasionally loses his temper? I don’t see the relationship to anything, at all.

I'd like to see O'Reilly try to make it as a Japanese newsreader... Now, there's an apparently veeeeeery stressful job!

To: pissant
My son was trying to show me this yesterday, but when he went back CBS had yanked it for "rights" or something.
I actually think it makes BOR look more human. I could see him working at a construction site, rather than an Anderson Cooper or Keith Olberman working in a nail salon.

He was asked to read something off the TelePrompTer cold that he hadn't written. It wasn't his style as as he was reading it he thought "it doesn't make sense."
But when the pressure was on, he said he'd do it live and he did ad-lib an ending that sounded much more natural and in his style.
His personality notwithstanding, he is a professional.

OR’s background is very telling, as a child he was criticised mercilessly by his cro-magnon father and chastised for his stupidity. Typical blowhard, no respect as a child and always angry at any mistake he made (plenty, to be sure). He is an emtionally stunted adult with a lack of any class or proper behavior.

Big Deal. I'm no fan of the blowhard, but it sometimes isn't easy to depend upon idiots. Would it be better for him to calmly spout some inanity that many viewers would attribute to him?

That was the horrible example of him blowing his top? I'm underwhelmed to say the least.
So he got frustrated with either a messed up teleprompter or the people writing the info that goes on the teleprompter, and lost his temper under the time pressure of recording the closing clip during the commercial break and spouted a few bad words.
He did manage to handle the closing comments live reasonably well.
I suppose he's never supposed to get pissed off on the job and swear when they aren't live?
It this, which is obviously from a long time ago, is the best example from his long television career of him getting upset on the set, I'd say he's obviously a pretty calm guy, and the people dredging this up from way back when are just childish.
