We stand warned by serious and credible scientists across the world that time is short and the dangers are great," the Arizona Republican said in a speech delivered at a wind-energy facility..

He's a cap-n-trader to boot.. ready to move us into the post-carbon age..
Such a system would "change the dynamic of our energy economy" by giving companies incentives to invest in alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, nuclear, clean coal, biomass and biofuels, McCain said, providing the United States with an energy supply "that is safe, secure, diverse and domestic."

McCain is doing more and more to alienate the base and ensure his defeat.

If Zell Miller instead of B. Hussein Obama or She Who Must Not Be Named were running against McCain, I could be persuaded to vote Democratic.

Such a system would "change the dynamic of our energy economy" Change the dynamics of our energy economy = Change it over from a free market system to a socialist system.
by giving companies incentives
Incentives = Do what the government orders you to do our face massive fines and/or jail time. Your incentive is keeping your own butt out of prison.
to invest in alternative energy sources
Invest = Forced to be told what you can and will do with your own money.

I find his refusal to address the concerns of conservative Americans to be increasingly antagonistic. He believes we have "nowhere to go"--and takes us utterly for granted--aiming a few kicks our way every now and then as a little grandstand for the MSM.
