Have you noticed global warming is becoming “climate change”? The environuts claimed we were all going to freeze it didn’t happen. Then they claimed we will all die from the heat. They just couldn’t get their timing right. Climate change gives the flexibility to cover all contingencies. Words do have meanings. Enviro-wackos don’t.

Makes perfect sense to me. IF McCain gets my vote, it would be a grudging vote not for him but rather against Obama or Hilary. I save my financial support for those I'm voting for.

If McCain disdained the concept of Global Warming, he would assuredly be attacked by the whole Green Movement.

But he and his staff have, instead, cleverly acknowledged that Global Warning COULD exist - thereby effectively neutralizing attacks on McCain and other Republicans that would have come if he and they had disdained the concept.

McCain has just smashed a hunk off the platform of the Democrats, and I know the Democrats are not happy about this. They have just been denied a weapon they had counted upon.

The great mystery is why people on this site have become so obtuse as not to see and understand this.

Rush realizes what is going on. But in his continued, and asinine, attacks upon McCain, he pretends not to.

Rush seems to be seeking nothing but to crowned Republican (Radio) “President” upon a Republican loss - brought about more than a little by him - without ever having competed for public office in his lifetime. He is no longer a cuddly bear.

Another Al Gore for president

I know. I'm SO ashamed of "Republic"ans for nominating this moron, and in fact of the American electorate in general for fielding this bunch of Marxist, statist idiots who don't think it's important to actually know how the stuff works that they want to legislate. Fools.

I tend to agree with you but I'm holding out to see who he picks for VP. That is the President after McClame.

Well, all of us conservatives are the blame for the mess we are in with McCain. We split our vote so many different ways(e.g. Ron Paul, the Congressmen from Colorado/California, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, etc.)McCain got the nomination. We never seem to learn that we have to consolidate behind one conservative.

I disagree, after Slick Willy sneaked in the office in 1992 US electorate swept out Democratic Congress and Senate in 1996, then elected Republicans all the way in 2000.

However so called "Republicans" squandered the mandate given to them, betrayed US voters trying to outdo Democrats in reckless spending, pandering to illegal aliens, pandering to special interest, irresponsible fiscal policy, etc.
They outdid a classic Democratic agenda and succeeded putting US on the path of destruction, that's why we are in the current mess.

Blaming conservative voters for it is ridiculous. Pubs politicians will pay price for it for the long time to come, if they are goinig to survive as a viable party after all.
