Oh yes, there is construction going on Silver Lane for a new store. That was also where there used to be a Salvation Army store there. Silver Lane needs to be redelveloped bigtime.

I’ve reached the point that I’ve decided that the current crop of candidates for President are the final proof of the Peter Principal as applied to government.

Our only hope is to vote for absolute gridlock for the next four years, lacking the ability to vote “None of the Above” and make that stick.

If McCain was half as tough on Democrats as he is on Republicans he’d have more support form the base.

HOLYHEAD, Wales — A man who dressed up as Darth Vader, wearing a garbage bag for a cape, and assaulted the founders of a group calling itself the Jedi church was given a suspended sentence Tuesday.

Arwel Wynne Hughes, 27, attacked Jedi church founder Barney Jones — aka Master Jonba Hehol — with a metal crutch, hitting him on the head, prosecutors told Holyhead Magistrates' Court. He also whacked Jones' 18-year-old cousin, Michael Jones — known as Master Mormi Hehol — bruising his thigh in the March 25 incident, prosecutors said.

I go from time to time to the former since it is not far from where I live for their breakfeasts. They have excellent breakfeasts specials. One is even named for US House Rep. John Larson, who goes to Augie & Ray’s from time to time.

Nope, he's a Scoop Jackson Democrat--a hawk on defense, tepidly against abortion, and liberal on every other issue. I just wish he'd admit it and switch parties.

It is folks like the one you have encountered at a Whole Food’s that makes you long for a Shaws, a Stop and Shop, or even Big Y. Folks do not make a big deal about politics who shop there.
