I'm sure the Democrats are trying to convince people who voted in the Democrat Primary on March 11th that they can't vote Republican today.
This is the general and you can vote for anyone on the ballot. Need to vote for Greg Davis (R) to keep the Dems from using another Democrat who is campaigning as a Conservative Travis Childers from adding to Pelosi's stable of reliable votes.

This sucks. Are we really going to lose this bad in November? The House Republican caucus is going to be able to meet in a phone booth.

When we lost the last two special elections, we were told not to panic. But if these results hold up, it may be panic time.

Maybe if we spent more time and energy promoting and voting for our own candidates as we do to screw up the Dims, we’d be able to retake the House and Senate.

Tightening up, at least for now: Childers 51/49 with 294/462 precincts reporting.
To: NeoCaveman; Diana in Wisconsin; Free ThinkerNY
Prentiss County hasn’t even reported yet, and Childers is County Clerk there.
I keep hoping that DeSoto County puts Davis over the top. But much of it has already reported.

In following so many elections it never ceases to amaze me that the Dem. counties are *always* the last to report. That’s especially true here in Louisiana, but it looks like a similar situation will doom Davis.
To: Clintonfatigued
I believe you can call this. 70% of the prec reporting and the democrat has 52% of the vote and the democrat candidates home county not yet reporting.
Another big, big loss. GWB and the Republican Rino Congress have been a total disaster. The nation will pay the price for this for the foreseeable future.

It’s time for that j@ckh0le Tom Cole to go. Nice job managing the NRCC, you loser.
I mean, here in AZ, the delegation here could tilt to the Dims for the first time since... well, as long as I’ve lived here - and they’re hemmoraging cash in races that we shouldn’t even break a sweat in?
TIME... FOR TOM COLE... TO GO!!!

It seems the Bush administration has one big success I guess.
They have literally destroyed the GOP to its core. Losing house seats in Mississppi? What a disgrace.

Clarionledger.com has declared Childers the winner.
Time to start demanding leadership resignations.

This may get me in trouble, but I hope Bush doesn’t speak at the Republican National Convention.
