"CNN published a report on Laura Bush on April 8, 2001. Briefly mentioned was the fact that Laura’s father was a leader in the Republican National Commitee and the Central Intelligence Agency after the war."

I had no idea about any of this.

The Russians later entered the area, and the Americans retreated farther west.

Good grief, retreated? It is no wonder Americans can not support a war we are winning. These days we don't know the difference between withdrawing to preset occupation areas and retreating.

This is fascinating - I wonder if he knew personally the American soldier Private Galione, who actually went AWOL and FOUND and reported Camp Dora and its inhabitants and V2 rockets to the 103rd.

According to an interview I watched earlier today with the daughter of Private Galione, Mary Nahas, author of “The Journey of Private Galione, interviewed on “It’s Supernatural” (www.SidRoth.org), Camp Dora was actually in the zone of Russian occupation at that time, and the US Army took those rockets (forunners of ICBMs) right out from under the nose of the Russians. Stalin was allegedly reported to be “livid” at this.

"Briefly mentioned was the fact that Laura’s father was a leader in the Republican National Commitee and the Central Intelligence Agency after the war.

No wonder Bush seems asleep. His dad, Granddad all Washingtonians, Laura's. Now McCain, third Generation. Between the finacialist, the incestious Washingtonians, the Country Club elitists. Business as usual. What's the problem, our checks come in on time? And, besides, the Democrats are worse, and we are only screwing up the entire country at half the rate.

My father participated in the liberation of the Nordhausen concentration camp. He has a photo album of the camp. Needless to say the photos are gruesome.

What Laura Bush’s father Harold Bruce Welch experienced in Germany, can be reconstructed from sources.

How does one go about doing this? My grandfather served in Europe and later in the Pacific. I'd love to see his records.
