Read the 77 comments published on this article. Very depressing-they've overwhelmingly swallowed the taqiyah kool aide, and believe islam is a religion of tolerance and noncompulsion, not a word about dhimmitude, etc etc. This quote IMO says it all:

At the very least, that would complicate the security planning of state visits by President Obama to Muslim countries, because the very act of protecting him would be sinful for Islamic security guards. More broadly, most citizens of the Islamic world would be horrified by the fact of Senator Obama’s conversion to Christianity once it became widely known — as it would, no doubt, should he win the White House.

What I think is that Muslims all over the world are curiously enthusiastic in their support of Obama. Apostate? They don’t seem to think so.

I think this article only uncovers half the problem that is exposed when you turn over that rock.

Is Obama officially a Muslim? Of course. Two or three times over. Is he apostate, then? Well, his Christianity bears a curiously close resemblance to Black Muslim beliefs, and none his Muslim buddies or supporters seem to have a problem with it. Maybe they know something we don’t.

He has already interjected himself into the politics of Kenya, supporting his church-burning, Christian-murdering Muslim cousin Odinga against the duly elected Christian president, and helping to force Odinga into the government even though he lost the vote. Of course our press approves of that, but they haven’t ventured to say much about it, in case it might cause people to wonder.

I believe that B. Hussein Obama is, was and always will be a muslim. The proof is right before us. Osama - oops - I mean Obama says he attended Rev Wrong’s church for 20 years and never heard a discouraging word. Of course we don't believe that for one minute. How could he sit there and not hear what the Rev. was spewing out? The answer is quite simple; he didn't sit there! My theory is this: when Obama went to church Sunday's he brought a blow up doll of himself and set it up while he snuck out via a secret tunnel to the muslim mosque down the road. Obama says his daughters have been "baptized" into the church. If he is "Christian", why has HE not been "baptized"? HMMMMM? Every Christian faith that I know of, requires "baptism" of either sprinkling or immersion to finalize the convert into Christianity publicly.

Also, if this "Muslim by birth" has, in fact, converted to Christianity, he should have a fatwa issued against his life by some radical mullah. So, who is going to inherit the 72 virgins by assassinating this apostate!

I have been saying this very thing, here and elsewhere for since he first announced his candidacy.

There really is nothing to think about. Taking Obama at his word that he is a Christian, this makes him, through his parentage, an apostate under sharia law. This requires the death penalty which can be ordered by virtually any imam.

This could be the reason though, that he seems to pander to islamic sympathies and why he donated large sums of money to CAIR. Perhaps he trying to avoid a fatwa, or hopes that Muslims will choose to believe that his conversion was done under duress (allowable if it is not a conversion of the heart), and that he is in fact still a muslim.

Of course, his proclaimed intentions to withdraw troops from Iraq “as soon as possible”, may have other reasons behind it other than a simple desire to end the war.

In any case, this will hang over him in any kind of foreign policy process that involves the middle-east or the larger islamic world.

I’ve been thinking about this ever since I read about Barack’s religious background on his father’s side. He is an apostate, at least under Islamic tradition. I have this creepy vision of President Obama greeting the ruler of the Saudis and suddenly seeing the ruler take out a knife and gut the man. Of course, the ruler would also be killed - assuming it’s not a private meeting. Alternately, a single Moslem with gumption might get to him. In any case, this is a real problem.

How quickly you forget your Koranic teaching. A Muslim may LIE if in doing so it furthers the process of Islam's goal of becoming the one world religion. I contend that the only reason Barack Hussein Obama has not been harmed by the Muslims or had a fatwa placed on his head, is because Muslim leaders know that he's "fudging" on his being a Christian. He said he wasn't a PRACTICING Muslim. He also said he goes to church to PRAY. NO. NO. NO. Christians go to church to worship. Muslims go to "church" (mosque) to pray. There are just enough subconscious hints in his use of the English language that indicate he is a fairly proficient liar. Not the best liar (Billy Jeff Clinton wins that hands down), but Barack Hussein Obama has been lying about everything ever since he decided he wanted to be a "black" man. He is an ARAB man per documentation in Kenya which lists his father as ARAB (neither black nor any other color or lack hereof).
