McCain won’t win anyway. Obama will trounce McCain. People will come out in droves to vote for Obama. Just like they did in the primaries. It’s something new and different. People are excited.

And John McCain cannot compete with that. Not to mention that he doesn’t have alot of support with conservatives.

People did the same thing with Jesse Ventura (Minnesota). I couldn’t believe how excited they got about that bonehead. Everyone should have known what a dolt he was, but they thought it was so cool - a former wrestler as governor. Gah!!!

It looks like a lot conservatives are wimpy self-defeatists. No wonder principled men routinely get their butts kicks by passionless liberal zombies. My advice to you is to act like a man and do your part and stop bitching about what everybody else does or does not do.

"And John McCain cannot compete with that"

Because he doesn't have the cashola that Obama has.

And the reason McCain doesn't have the cash? He keeps giving Republicans (especially Conservatives) the middle finger every single chance he gets.

Some of these forums contain posts by registered Republicans who are sending Mexican pesos to the McCain camp to communicate their anger and frustration with him.

I can't say I blame them.

McCain’s tactics are to appeal to enough center left people that together with the regular republican voters he can win. Is this reasonable? First, except for a very few moderate leftists such as Lieberman and other concerned orthodox Jews, and some racist democrat voters the vast majority of those he hopes to appeal to are adamantly against the war and they will not vote for him. Not a chance. With respect to the republican vote, that remains to be seen but without the former his chances are nil.
