What importance do you believe the 2008 Republican Platform will play in this Presidential election? What if anything can the McCain opposition do to influence it?
McCains people should dominate the convention. He has vastly superior numbers. Im not sure how anyone could change the platform without his approval. If someone disagrees with this, Id be happy to hear it, and an explanation along the lines of what you asked for.
You took the easy path, huh? I merely provided my point of view on the subject. It's up to you to categorize my comments. If this is how you look at it, that's fine with me. I would point out to you, that McCain is going to have about three delegates at the convention to every one others will have. Doesn't that put McCain is a pretty good position to dominate the platform committee?
IMHO, you've already given up. To my mind, if I believed as you and your friends believe, faced with the political facts, I'd be wondering how to work the system to get the best respresentation possible. Well, if you were a delegate to the convention, I would support you doing whatever you could. I am not going to be a delegate to the convention, so I won't have that opportunity. And as I stated, McCain owning 75% of the delegates at the convention doesn't leave a lot of power left over for those who oppose his views.
These McCainophobac threads mostly serve as a vent for so-called True Conservative frustration and disallusionment . . . and a sardonic giggle. I suppose some people's thoughts could be limited to that view, upon seeing this thread. A number of contributors to the thread didn'd seem to agree with you. Others may have.

(Who opposes John McCain's leftist agenda? The RNC, Rep Congress members, the Democrats? Good luck!)

Yes.
You did.
Thank you.
I merely thought that someone who exercised such interest and applied so much of their personal time in searching out and posting all those wonderful graphics might have previously prepared for the upcoming contest at the Republican Convention . . . and must certainly know something about inserting themselves and their values into the contest.
