Now you may have a valid point here, I'll give you that. The problem with this is you have to assume McLame will be able to pass more liberal legislation than Obama will. If this is true you will also have to assume that these same RINOs will not vote for more said liberal policies in the name of bi-partisanship if Obama was in power. I don't think it will happen the way you say it will here, but I'm not saying I don't have my doubts. I agree with you that this is not acceptable Republican behavior, my friend. I think you are a principled man, and you hate to see what is going on in the GOP. I wish more congressmen where like you in that regard.
Here’s what I see, fleshed out a bit more.
If Obama proposes something leftist in the Senate, he’ll have something like 58 to 62 votes.
If McCain proposes something leftist in the Senate, he’ll have something like 90 to 95 votes.
In the House it would be something like 225 to 250 backing Obama’s lefitst play, and anywhere from 350 to 400 backing McCain’s leftist play.
This is why I say that with McCain in the White House, we have no go to guy. We have no go to Congressional members to oppose him, or extremely few.
This would essentially be one party rule under McCain. That is VERY dangerous. If he wanted to sign us on to any globalist policies, it would be a done deal.
Obama has Conservative opposition. McCain doesn’t.
This is my take on it. If you folks think it’s a flawed perception then so be it.
And thank you for stating that you began to at least understand where I’m coming from, even if you don’t quite think it’s valid.
