“So you are willing to not only give them the judges in the supreme court but also the presidency and a filibuster proof Congress.”
No. Those who nominated Juanito did all that. I never had any obligation to vote for your party. I have voted Repub in the past, but lately they’ve changed, I haven’t and I won’t.

I do not recall hearing him support homo marriage, and I am pretty sure he is anti-abortion.
Those may or may not be his words, however, he is on record on both issues of being against the one method to end both evil issues:
1. Human Life Amendment to the Constitution
2. Marriage Amendment to the Constitution

Is this a photo of the time when McLame and his butt buddy Lindsey Graham were trying to shove AMNESTY up our behinds?
This is just one of the reasons I find it nearly impossible to support this moron.
Keating 5
Amnesty
against the Bush tax cuts
a royal pain for Republicans forever. Etc. ETc.
What the hell is this guy doing running as a republican?

Many moderate conservatives also reject John Sidney McCain. He should never have made the commercial with his mom. The look the same age and she is more alert.

I dont understand why were stuck with McCain. Couldnt all of the pledged delegates to other candidates combine to stop his nomination on the floor?
The problem is we are dealing with what is probable, not what is possible.
I also would like to see that scenario unfold, however, it has almost zero probability of occuring.

Understand that I am a conservative and I am most definitely not a McCain supporter. As a matter of fact, at this point, I plan not to vote for him. (His choice of a VP may change my mind, but I doubt it.)
That said, I must say that I can’t necessarily hold those agains him. I am also against adding a marriage amendment to the Constitution, as I believe marriage issue should be states’ issue. Life amendment — I don’t really know enough about it, but I am most definitely against abortion and hope to see Roe overturned in my lifetime.
MCCain-Kennedy is all I needed to turn me against McCain.

Im not finished. Before we vote for him, Senator McCain must register with Free Republic, present himself before the conservative movement, put his head between his legs, and kiss his own arse.Let me add a further stipulation: He has to denounce MacCain-Feingold as an illegal, anti-democratic, anti-American attempt to undermine free elections and full access to the political process by the elites. I will NOT vote for any man who thinks MacNutJob-Feingold was a good day's work.

So you are willing to see two more Ginsburgs or worse, in a permanent life long position, when those positions could go to conservative judges.Seeing two more Ginsburgs is very, very, very small damage compared to the death of the conservative movement which the election of Juanito MacNutJob would insure.

I will NOT vote for any man who thinks MacNutJob-Feingold was a good day's work. Can we legitimately expect a President McCain to appoint judges who might possibly undo his McCain-Feingold handiwork?
I submit that, no, we cannot.
Thus, we cannot have any legitimate expectation that a President McCain will appoint strict constructionist, original intent conservative judges.

Cartoonists and comedians will have a filed day with the candidates. I can imagine the cartoons of "Sen. Big Ears" vs "Sen. Short Arms."
Then the age jokes. McCain looks like Tim Conway and Cindy scary like Cruella in red leather. There was a poll re who makes the best role model: Laura B., Hillary, Michelle O., Marge Simpson, or Cindy McCain. Cindy got the least, a tiny 4% while Marge Simpson had 9%.
Of course, no racial jokes permitted. I do not want to get kicked of this board so I will not say who Obama was compared to by a caller on Rush.

"But McCain is the lesser of three evils." You only think he is!
I never thought I'd say this, but I really believe that Hillary is more conservative than McCain.
