I believe it is impossible to have an abortion and not be riddled with deep and profound heartache. I believe the SCOTUS upholding Roe v. Wade was a horror to all women and their unborn babies.

Every human has it written into their very being that this is wrong.

When their conscience starts nagging them, they go one of two routes - repentence and remorse, or defiance and lifelong justification.

Agreed. I suspect that it is a feeling that never goes away. These women have my sympathy for that reason, because it is something they can never take back, something that is often done by young women who may have been brainwashed by others.
