Against the backdrop of a stunning Texas sunset, near a lake on the Bush family's 1,600-acre ranch, President Bush walked his daughter, Jenna, down the aisle to her groom, the White House said.
Jenna Bush and Henry Hager say "I do" on Saturday. "We're mighty blessed," President Bush said.
Jenna, 26, married Henry Hager, the son of a well-connected Virginia Republican.
"The wedding was spectacular. It was all we could have hoped for," the president said Sunday before boarding Air Force One.
"We're mighty blessed."
Wearing a white silk organza Oscar de la Renta gown, the bride stood with the groom before a beige-colored cross and altar made of Texas limestone.
The White House declined to release many details of the festivities, citing the family's wish for privacy.
Bush family friend Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston officiated as the couple exchanged wedding vows in front of some 200 family members and friends.
The guests arrived in five coach buses and were waved through the ranch's checkpoint around 7 p.m.

Afterwards, under a tent nestled in a thick cluster of trees, the celebration included dinner and dancing to the music of the Motown-style band, the Tyrone Smith Review, the White House said.
A CNN camera crew positioned miles from the wedding site saw a glimpse of the white tent, illuminated with what appeared to be strings of lights hanging from the ceiling.
The president and the bride picked "You Are So Beautiful" for their father-daughter dance, band leader Tyrone Smith of Nashville, Tennessee. told The Associated Press. Smith and his 10-piece party band, The Tyrone Smith Revue, was asked to do "Lovin' in My Baby's Eyes" by Taj Mahal for the newlyweds' first dance.

That’s our President. He is a true gentleman. I am so glad Jenna and Henry had a private wedding. It looks absolutely beautiful. I was waiting to see the pictures. What a beautiful couple. God bless President Bush and his entire family.

Yes, I can see the soldier’s cap to the immediate left of the picture, and I would not be surprised if Dubya picked it up for him. I also noticed that Dubya got down the ladder of the previous plane and looked back up apparently to make sure his mom was getting down okay.
There was a picture quite a while back of some young girls who practice for the church chorus on the second floor across from the church which Dubya and Laura go to when in D.C. They asked him to wave to them, and he did. They were obviously thrilled in the picture of them at the windows. Since then, I notice that he looks up and waves, and I suspect he’s still waving to those little kids. Naturally, the lib media never mentions it.

I’ve been thinking for a while that maybe twin Barbara has been holding back for Jenna to enjoy the spotlight on her wedding day so that Barbara can announce her own engagement. Just thinking, don’t know anything.
I've enjoyed Kirbyjon's fervent praying at the Inauguration and National Cathedral.
I was somewhat disappointed to read in the New York Times account of the wedding:
Mr. Caldwell, a longtime religious adviser to Mr. Bush, has endorsed Senator Barack Obama.
Who is the woman beside GHWB?
It would look grainy/blurry if I enlarged it. I looked for a larger version couldn’t find one.
