If there's nothing you can do, then there's nothing you can do: We can't force the Burmese government to accept aid. I recall seeing a thread where some liberal was encouraging the United States to INVADE Burma so as to help the Burmese people. Funny how we were excoriated for doing that in two other countries during the Bush administration, yet now it's a good idea!

Agreed. I don’t think the Chinese or N Ks would take agression lying down on this one. Burma has natural gas. It would be one thing if the junta just was keeping on with its slaughterhouse ways. It’s another to achieve the same effect by indifference. - Oh. Wait. We’d rather run a sham of an election over here, thanks.
