Today at about the time this thread is posted the President will be walking his daughter Jenna down the aisle in Crawford Texas as she marries Henry Hager. The White House has promised to release a couple of photos of this very private event tomorrow.
On Friday evening the President attended a wedding rehearsal dinner near his ranch and the previous evening the Vice President spoke at an event in Washington celebrating the 60th year of the nation of Israel.
Pray for President Bush -- Day 2795

At 7:30 their time. So they are probably right in the middle of the ceremony. Other tidbits: The first lady, Jenna and twin sister Barbara, along with female relatives and Jenna's 14 house party members, participated in a bride's lunch, in Salado. I think yesterday.
The groom's family hosted a barbecue for guests this afternoon catered by Eddie Dean of Dallas. Oh and Laura's dress is short and no tux for W. Bet he is glad about that...

Supposedly it was only family and family friends who were invited

Thanks so much for the ping Snugs! I pray all is well with you dear.
Today is my wedding anniversary also. A great time of year for weddings...when flowers are in bloom and love is in the air.
Today in private I said a loving prayer of protection, guidance, health and continued love for Jenna and Henry.
I pray they will grow in Gods grace together. :)
God bless the Bush family!!! :)))

Only 200 were invited. And they included relatives of Jenna (up to and including first cousins-that’s about 40 people right there) and friends of the President who have known Jenna all her life so that kinda leaves Cheney, Rove and Rumsfeld out, I guess.

I doesn’t surprise me either that the entire Bush family is a class act!

I enjoyed these two additional quotes:
“Henry, says Mrs. Hermann, gave the funniest toasts of the night, telling the president he couldnt wait to be the son hed never had.”
“. . . the book co-written by Jenna and her mother is, for the second week in a row, the No.1-selling chilldren book on the New York Times bestseller list.”
