uh...maybe because polygny is blessed by GOD and homosexuality is NOT.. God blessed men in the bible with more wives.. he said homosexuality is an abomination..

Christ talked about Adam and Eve, one couple, as the ideal. The patriarchs were not “blessed” with polygamy. It led to family disasters. Every one of the patriarchs who practiced polygamy ended up with miserable families. Abraham, Jacob, King David, King Solomon ... King David, “man after God’s own heart” was unwilling or unable to guide his many sons from many wives which led to rape and murder and rebellion among the half-sibs. Further, the Lord told him the sword would never depart from his house.
